What we do not do
There is no sign-up, no login and no profiles. We do not ask for a name, an email or a phone number; we do not sell data, do not pass it to advertising networks and do not build a visitor profile.
The website
The server keeps an ordinary access log (page address, time, browser type, IP address); it is needed to protect against abuse and is kept for a limited time. Anonymous traffic analytics is used, with no cross-site tracking. Cookies are set only for your own settings: language, interface generation, selected map layers.
The “Karta Tryvoh” apps
The app has no login and collects no personal data.
- Notification subscriptions. Only the region code (for example, UA-63) and an anonymous notification token issued by Google or Apple are sent to the server. That data cannot identify you.
- Location. If you grant access, coordinates are used ONLY on the device — to work out which region you are in. The coordinates themselves are never transmitted or stored anywhere.
- API key. If you add your own key, it is stored on the device only and sent in a request header, like any access key.
- Settings. Language, theme, selected layers and subscribed regions live in the app’s storage on your device.
Where alert data comes from
Alert data and threat movement come from official sources and open monitoring channels; the front line comes from DeepStateMap and thermal points from NASA FIRMS. The list is on the Sources page. All requests to those sources are made by our server, not by your device: the app talks only to map.megainet.art.
Children
The service is not directed at children and collects no age data. No personally identifying data is collected at all — from adults or children.
Deleting data
To remove a notification subscription, turn it off in the app or delete the app — the token stops being valid and the record is removed. We hold no other data about you, so there is nothing else to delete. If you have a request, write to us at the address below.
Changes
If this policy changes, a new update date will appear here, and we will describe substantive changes in words rather than merely rearranging paragraphs.
